| It all began with the birth of our daughter Is(abella). Being both architects, my husband and I were constantly looking for furniture, clothing, and toys that would compliment our modern style. Unfortunately, it was much more difficult than we imagined. I then began designing my own things for Is. |

| I was content for awhile, until the birth of our second child Q(uentin). Frustrated with the thought of once again trying to find modern children's products and knowing very few existed, I decided to start my own thing. With a lot of encouragement from my amazing husband, Ismodern was born. My hope is to design products that are simple, well-made and,of course, modern. Through the use of bold color, quality materials, and exceptional construction, I hope to create an amazing collection of children's products that both children and their parents can appreciate.
